The City of Bastrop Police Department serves and protects the public by enforcing the criminal and straffic laws of the City of Bastrop and the State of Louisiana.  The department also investigates crimes of any nature occuring within the City of Bastrop.  To serve the community the Bastrop Police Department employs 50 sworn Officers who work within several divisions, including Records, Patrol, Narcotics, Community Action and Detective.  To obtain copies of police reports, accident reports, or to file a complaint, please contact the Records Division at (318) 283-3365.
